I never got around to posting Seth and Sam's soccer season pictures, so even though tball has been over for about a month now, I want to still make sure to post some pictures. Also it helps make me feel less guilty for the fact that I still haven't posted a 6 year old update on the twins. It's in the works, and hopefully I'll finish it soon!
Tball was a lot of fun! We were very blessed to be placed on a team with several families we already knew, and also quite a few that live very close to us. With us moving to a new community this past year and homeschooling, sports is a good opportunity to get to know people! The boys seemed to click well with several of the boys, and we really enjoyed visiting with the parents. There was definitely plenty of time to visit, because the games were SLOW. It was just about as basic of tball as one could get: they let each team bat all the way through the line-up, no one got "out", and there was no score kept. Seth and Seth were a bit disappointed about the lack of competitiveness, and thought that soccer was more fun because you got to move and do more. However, it was fun to watch all the kids get better at batting, and by the final game a kid actually even caught a ball--the whole crowd cheered!
The pictures of the boys batting totally crack me up. First, I got a swing and a miss with Sam.
Then a swing and a tee wallop from Seth.
Here's Sammy at first base.
Sweet Seth on base.
Nice look Sam.
This picture below pretty much sums up the kids' interest in tball. We looked over to find all of them hovered on the ground examining a bumble bee. Hilarious!
Tball was a big hit for Joshy too, because the games were played on the field next to the grade school playground, so Josh got to play on the equipment for a lot of the games.
Not too happy about something.
Going down the tunnel.
He loved the slides!
Being a monkey on the bars. Not sure which twin this is...I think Seth?
Nope, that was Sam, because this is Seth with Joshy.
Such a rascal this kid.
The last game of the year the boys got cookies with their names on them and little trophies.
