I’m in denial. My baby will be one year old next month. It’s all gone too fast. Here’s what our sweet Joshy is up to these days, he had a huge developmental month!
-Clapping
-Signing “more” and “all done”
-A periodic wave
-LOVES water. And dirt. And rocks. And any combination of the three.
-Not too into trying walking. He can push along a couple of toys, but prefers to crawl.
-Starting teething this past week. It hasn’t been pleasant for any of us.
-He’s not much of a cuddlier, but instead loves if we lay or sit on the floor and he “nuzzles” us (kind of like a head butt).
-His first time camping this month. He did wonderful and loved it! What would be better for Josh than being outside all day, playing in grass and dirt, and going to a swimming pool?
-He discovered the joys of the bathroom this month: splashing in the toilet, unrolling an entire roll of toilet paper, and taking out and shredding everything in the garbage.
-He is obsessed with Ben. If Ben is home, Josh won’t let him out of his sight. He cries in the morning when Ben leaves. It is very sweet.
Brothers!!!
He is so cute! It's always hard when they reach that one year mark, yet kind of exciting all at the same time. I love how little personalities start to shine at about his age too, sounds like he is going to be all boy and sweet as can be. :)
ReplyDeleteSo sweet! I love his little scrunched up nose. I am always sad when they turn one as well.
