It was so special to not only have snow, but snow on a day that we were celebrating Christmas, and to share that snow with cousins! The snow wasn't really sticking much at our house, but we all piled into Papa's truck (11 of us!) and headed up the hills about 15 minutes away where the snow was about 8 inches deep. We all had a blast!
It was a full truck load!
Here's the group (minus the picture taker)
So beautiful!
I tried to get individual pictures of all the kids. Snow has such great lighting!
Josh (2 years)
Edmund (2.5 years old)
Clara (5)
Sam (6 years)
Seth (6)
Aidah (almost 8)
Miriam (9 years)
Nick and his boy
Such a great picture of my dad!
Joshy and I
The kids got to experience all things snow: snow angels, snowmen, an adventure hike with Uncle Ben, lots and lots of snow eating, snowballs, and even tried burying Ben. It was so fun!
Edmund brought his bulldozer and it was a great "help" in making the snowman
Thanks for taking the picture, Nick!
That's one good lookin' snowman! (Dad added the hair, arm and smile)
Burying Uncle Ben (blurry spot on the camera, sorry! It's not your eyes)
The monster emerges
This picture was from an earlier trip to the snow and taken by my dad. I adore the loving look on Ben's face as he's showing Joshy snow for the first time. Great picture, Dad!
The twins also got to have a snow outing with Ben and Grandpa Deedo on Christmas Eve. These are such unique and special memories for our kids since we just don't get snow much! We're thankful!
