I can't remember a more delightful Christmas tree hunt than we had this year. First of all, the sun was shining. Second, the tree farm "Christmas Mountain," is amazing: they have a tractor that takes you out to the trees, then they pick up your tree for you, shake it, wrap it and have it ready for pick up. They have free hot chocolate, a fire pit and Santa. It's the best.
On the tractor ride
Our children actually got a picture with Santa? What!? They actually talked to a Santa Claus...this is unprecedented in our household.
I've found that I could care less which tree we pick...it's Ben and the boys that are the picky ones!
How about this one?
Nope, this is the "one"
Thankful for daddy cutting it down for us!
Brothers! (Seth looks so cute in his scarf!)
Second year of letting the kids have their own tree in addition to the main one (it's my solution to having a place to put the many, many homemade ornaments they like to create)
The twins got a turn trying to cut the small one down...it was hard to do!
Sam's turn
It's this the most gorgeous setting for a tree farm?
Someone offered to take a picture of our whole family! I'm wishing that I hadn't already sent in our Christmas card order, because this picture and that Santa Claus one would have been great for a card. Oh well, a blog post is close enough!
