I haven’t been great about taking pictures lately. There are excuses, good ones in fact, but I miss my hobby of picture taking and blogging. So the last few days I’ve been trying to be better. Here’s some snapshots of the children and life I love so much:
“Mom, look at my headphones.” (Seth)
A day at the Beaverton splash park with friends. The kids didn’t spend much time in the water, but I don’t blame them—the water was freezing!
Sam, Wesley, Seth…best buds!
Poor Josh has seasonal allergies, & his 2nd double ear infection in three weeks. He was a bit of a wreck:
But did have some very cute new shoes:
And little Jude was determined to be in the water with the big boys:
I love picnics in the park with my boys! (Seth, Sam)
I walked outside the other day to find Sam and Seth doing this:
I just about died laughing. Sometimes I cannot even handle the level of creativity and innovation from these two boys. They proudly towed each other around all day (and each day since).
Today we headed out to Uncle Glenn and Aunt Tani’s house for the day. These cousins love each other so much. Each time we’re around them, I always laugh to myself and say, “Who’s having all these kids?” Between Alicia, Kasie, and I, we have eight kids, five and under. It makes for some busy days, but lots of love, fun and laughter. (Here’s the oldest six). I love this picture!
Reagan really wanted to hold, “baby,”. Josh wasn’t too sure about it. Even was even less sure about the kiss:
And what would a trip to Aunt Tani’s be without catching chickens. S & S were so brave and determined to catch one all on their own—especially Sammy. They were so cute!
Sammy in both these pictures.
Seth and Joshy
Josh wanted to hop right in their with the baby chicks!
How skinny are my boys? Seriously! (Sam, Seth)
This last picture melts my heart. My husband looks so darn handsome and he’s such a great daddy. He had to rock Joshy to sleep tonight because that little stinker wouldn’t go down. You see, apparently since Josh has learned to go from laying down to sitting, he would much rather do that than go to sleep. So he was up from noon until 7. Let’s hope he gets over the novelty of that trick soon!
