This and That; Catching Up on Daily Life

Going through my pictures from this month, I realized that I have a lot of fun miscellaneous photos that documents our day to day life at the Morris household. I’m so happy that I love photography and am taking pictures of normal events, not just special trips—because truly day to day life is wonderful! Although there are some days where I crave peace and quiet, I know “empty nest” days will come all too quickly and I’m miss little boys at my feet chatting constantly! Here’s to normal life:

IMG_2638 “Mommy, I drew a person,” Sam ran into the living room to tell me. By the time I got into the room, Seth had drawn one too. Not bad for 3 year olds! IMG_2642x “Get a pictures of this Mama! It’s a double piggy back!”IMG_2569 Watching a movie with cousins: Sam, Aidah, Miriam, and SethIMG_2565  Doing an art project—Sam and Seth LOVE doing projects. I’m trying to be good about planning 2 to 3 per week for them.IMG_2595

A quick trip to the zoo: I love living 5 miles from this place!

I now have Wesley 3 days a week on most weeks. We love our Wesley days! He’s 20 months old, so is at that wonderful age where kids are learning how to talk and exploring everything. In this picture Sam was a bit disgruntled because “Wesley won’t stand still for the pose.” It’s so fun to watch Seth and Sam “teach” Wesley things and having a younger kid around holds them accountable to be good examples!

We had a visit from Alicia, Judah and baby Titus last week on a Wesley day. It was a blast! All the boys played wonderfully outside while Alicia and I sipped coffee and chatted. At one point Seth, Sam and Judah were screaming across the yard for Wesley—come to find out, they were calling Wes their “cat” and wanting him to come eat their mud pie. Alicia and I about died laughing! Poor little Wesley had no idea that he was their pet!IMG_2657 Judah, Seth, Sam making their mud pie, i.e. Wesley the cat’s foodIMG_2663 Seriously, boys, how hard is it to look at the camera? 0 for 3 and this was their best picture! (Playing in their “hot tub”)IMG_2656 I envisioned a sweet picture with all the boys’ heads laying in a circle. This is what I got. IMG_2666 Curious George and popcorn…our favorite treat!

And that’s our “normal” life in a nutshell. Life is great!
