Watch Your Language

"Dang it!" That's what Ben said loudly in the midst of relaying a story to me.

"Dang it, dang it, dang it, dang it." That's what Seth and Sam started continually repeating after him. A lot. And loud.

We were in the car, and decided to play it cool, act like a 2 year old exclaiming "dang it" was no big thing. Let's be honest, we actually laughed, because it was really funny. We figured that it would phase out like any other word. We were wrong. (Yes, I realize that dang it is in no way a swear word, but still, it's not something you want two year olds walking around saying.)

Two nights later, as they were using their tools "fixing" the door, one them loudly shouted, "Dang it." Several times. I gave Ben "the look" and he had "the talk" that sometimes daddy says things he shouldn't, and that he doesn't want them to say dang it.

So now they just walk around saying, "Daddy say dang it; Seth, Sam no say dang it." Yikes.

Other favorite phrases/words in the world of Seth and Sam language:
-"Daddy gnokking the orn" (Daddy honking the horn...he always honks in the tunnels for them)
-any word that starts with "sp"....they are all my favorites: fashing (splashing), fecial (special), ficy (spicy), fining (spining)
-"cool" otherwise known as a pool in most households
-"thisa" = this is a..... & "theresa" = there is a
-"over dere" = other there... (yes, we are hicks)
-somehow cold has turned into "coldy" in our house, I'm not sure how
-Seth is really good at adding emphasis to words such as HUGE and brrrr
-Sammy is my little parrot and will copy anything we say (and yes, we're being more careful :)

My favorite boys
