Seth and Sam: 10 months old!

I can't believe my baby boys are already 10 months old! Looking back on the month of March, I cannot believe how much they have learned...it was a big month of growth. First, they became proficient crawlers. At the beginning of the month, they were barely moving around. Now, they are crawling all over the house. One of my favorite moments was when Seth crawled from our back room, and turned the corner to come find me in the kitchen. When Ben was watching them on Saturday, they apparently had a "great migration" (Ben's words) from our bedroom, down the hallway and into the den.

Next they learned to pull up. While this was quite exciting, it also was a bit of a challenge, because it took them a good two weeks to learn how to get down. Yikes. They were so excited about their new skill that it took them a good hour to fall asleep every bedtime, because all they wanted to do was stand (and they couldn't get down on their own). However, the novelty finally wore off, and they are getting to sleep much quicker (thank goodness!)  Now, we're just cruising all over the house. They pull up on everything (including each other) and walk from table to couch to basket, etc. It's really fun.

Other exciting "firsts" were that they learned how to wave. It's so wonderful when they wave "bye bye" to Ben in the morning and then wave at him when he gets home. They also learned how to "high 5," which is a very monumental milestone in this sports household! They are jabbering quite a bit, and have finally said "mama" a couple times.

What an exciting month! I can't wait to see what we'll be reporting for month 10!

  2. I wholeheartedly agree with everything you just said. :) Grace is pretty much doing the same things and it is so much fun to watch. I wonder if she ever gets tired of me giving her kisses and telling her how much i love her. Sure hope not.

  3. It is amazing how they seem to be doing something new constantly right now. They are such cuties! I was actually able to tell them apart in these photos. Not that I would get the right name though.
