9 Months Old!

                          Sammy: 17 lbs. 5 oz.  27 3/4 in.                Seth: 16 lbs. 15 oz., 27 1/8 in.

Wow! Our boys are already 9 months old; time flies with twins. I've decided that this is a great age for us: we've had a wonderful month. The boys are sleeping wonderfully (from 7:30-7:30).  Therefore, I am rested, energized, and happy.

We had their 9 month check-up last week. Ben went with me, thank goodness. It's so nice to have an extra pair of hands at the doctor, especially when it comes to shots. The highlight of the visit: as I was chatting with the doctor, Ben started laughing. I looked over to see Seth chewing on Sammy's big toe. Oh, twins, you are so funny! The doctor got a big kick out of it too! The boys are growing nicely: they are in the 10% for weight, 25% for height, and 50% for head. As Ben said, "Tall, skinny, and with big heads. That sounds about right for Morris boys."

Both boys are about ready to crawl. Seth is a bit more active and probably will crawl first. Seth will also walk along the length of the crib, while Sam is content to just stand. I'm pretty sure this is a reflection of their personalities.

I'm not in a rush for them to crawl, as I feel my freedom to leave them playing together will slip away. I better start shopping for some gates!

P.S. I did make the vests...aren't they cute!

  2. I loved it when Grace started crawling. Yes I have to be on my toes a little more, but she is so much happier being able to get where she wants to go.
